The Garden House
Hasn’t this summer been amazing. Scorching temperatures, barbecues every night, rose flowing and kids running around the garden in their pyjamas until late enjoying the last rays of sunshine. I don’t know about you, but I’ve spent most of my lunches and suppers outside dinning on pretty tin plates (don’t break and can be chucked in the dishwasher) and drinking rose by the pool or on picnics using pretty acrylic glassware. Avoiding any glass or china breaking due to dogs or children knocking them over. An essential part of summer living and can be found at the Garden House.
Mary Allhusen started The Garden House in 2010 after visiting the beautiful town of Honfleur and being inspired by its wonderful shops. Seeing a gap in the market for some useful arty traditional and contemporary outdoor items, she started selling tin plates, acrylic dinning ware and now has a range of useful roller towels, aga towels, picnic chairs, Sheila maids, among her collection.
I know it’s August but if you are like me and like to start putting a few Christmas gifts aside in order to make December a little more bearable, take a look at the Garden House website. It’s full of wonderful goodies and will make a change from a wintery hat and glove combo.
