Whether you are looking to decorate your home or update your wardrobe this summer, block prints are definitely a "must have". Seraphina London have just the answer, producing fresh and colourful hand block and screen printed textile collections for your wardrobe and home.
Founded by Fiona Hodges in 2014, Seraphina London offers classic romper suits and bloomers for babies, kurtas, shirts, dresses, shorts and nightwear for girls and boys, and finally a selection of maxi and mini dresses, kaftans, kurtas and nightwear for women. So update your wardrobe for your summer holidays with a few of her goodies.
The entire collection was inspired by Fiona's upbringing on her father's tea plantation in Darjeeling and then captivated by the work of Indian artisans specialising in block and screen print textiles. Along with her experience working for Vogue, Fiona has created an amazingly beautiful collection.
Seraphina London also offers stunning quilts and matching scatter cushions for your home but these are currently only available in the pop up shop. So if you have the chance, visit their showroom: 73 Elizabeth Street, Belgravia SW1 until 13th May and then in Chelsea, 340 Kings Road from 16th May to 17th June. You will want to buy the entire shop!
The world of Seraphina London can also be sampled in a beautifully converted barn in Somerset. Available to hire through her website or Airbnb, Fiona has transformed an old barn into a haven for a holiday or a long weekend away. Inspired by many of her trips to India, the place exudes light, colour and space. Bookings are for a minimum of 2 nights and sleeps 5 - Children who can't swim must be supervised.
